By downloading, installing, or using ParkSafe (“the app”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.
ParkSafe is a parking assistance application that displays parking sign information for New York City. The app shows parking restrictions on a map, allows you to save your parked location, and provides reminders based on nearby parking sign data.
Parking sign data provided by ParkSafe is for informational purposes only. While we strive to keep our data accurate and up to date, we cannot guarantee that the information displayed in the app reflects the current, real-world signage at any given location. Signs may be added, removed, or changed at any time by the City of New York or other authorities.
You are solely responsible for reading and following the actual parking signs at your location. ParkSafe is not a substitute for checking the physical signs where you park.
ParkSafe is not liable for any parking tickets, towing, fines, or other consequences resulting from your reliance on information provided by the app.
When using ParkSafe, you agree to:
All content, features, and functionality of ParkSafe — including but not limited to the design, code, graphics, and text — are owned by ParkSafe and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ParkSafe and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app. This includes, without limitation, damages for parking tickets, towing fees, vehicle damage, or any other losses.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app, if any.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the app (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the app.
ParkSafe uses third-party services including Amazon Web Services, Apple MapKit, and Firebase Crashlytics. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
We may terminate or restrict your access to the app at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall be resolved in the courts of New York.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
