Common Questions

How does automatic parking detection work?

ParkSafe uses iOS Shortcuts to detect when you disconnect from CarPlay or Bluetooth in your car. You’ll need to set this up once in the Shortcuts app.

Why didn’t I receive a reminder?

Make sure you’ve enabled notifications for ParkSafe in iOS Settings > Notifications. Also check that you selected the correct parking sign when you parked.

Can I use ParkSafe outside of NYC?

Currently, ParkSafe only supports New York City. We’re working on adding more cities in the future!

Is my location data being tracked?

No. ParkSafe only uses your location while you’re actively using the app to show nearby parking signs. We don’t store or track your location. See our Privacy Policy for details.
